My Everyday Autumn Fragrances

Ahhhh Autumn 🍁 At the first sign of the seasons changing I am always itching to pack away my light, floral summer perfumes and douse myself in deeper, heady and all together more autumnal scents. And this is exactly what happened this weekend.

These three fabulous fragrances are my go to scents this autumn, evoking images of crisp orange leaves, bonfires and dark nights in one mere spritz. ‘Body’ body mist by Burberry (£33 for 60ml) is definitely the lighter of the three and smells absolutely divine. I used this every day for a week, which is pretty loyal by my standards as I’m a bit of a perfume flitter, often using a different one each day. Described as an “effortlessly sensual and feminine fragrance” with top notes of fresh green absinthe illuminating peach and delicate freesia, floral heart notes of natural rose absolute, iris and warm sandalwood, and base notes of woody cashmeran, creamy vanilla, amber and musk. ‘Body’ manages to be fresh and provocative all at the same time. There aren’t many perfumes I repurchase as soon as I’m running low but this is definitely one of them.

‘Miss Dior’ Eau De Parfum by Dior (£46.50 for 30ml) is a reinterpretation of a classic, yet has managed to become a modern classic itself. I absolutely adore the bottle of this perfume and the little bow around the neck. ‘Miss Dior’ has a citrusy freshness, a jasmine heart with fruity under notes and all of this is underscored by patchouli. Unlike Burberry’s body mist, one little spritz of this is intense enough and really lingers all day long. A little pricy for a small bottle, but a little really does go a long way, and I would say its worth every penny.

Last but by no means least, I adore ‘Chance’ Eau De Parfum by Chanel (£95.00 for 100ml). I absolutely love Eau Tendre for the summer too – in fact, I would say the whole ‘Chance’ range is pretty darned desirable. Eau de Parfum is warm and sensual, with absolute of vanilla, exotic jasmine, iris and white musk. Again, this is an expensive one but then again, it is Chanel so do we need any more justification? If you are a person that does, consider that just one spray of this envelopes you in such a deep, exquisite scent that anyone and everyone will be swept up in the whirlwind that is Chance.

Do you have seasonal fragrances too? I’d love to hear what your autumn scents are 😊

I love the Chanel chance range it’s so gorgeous and much more youthful than the rest of the Chanel fragrances. I tend to stick for quite fresh fragrances all year long because I don’t really like heavy perfumes. Love your post xx

Thank you 😊 I really appreciate your feedback. I’m similar to you really and don’t tend to go for particularly heavy perfumes but the colder weather does draw me towards slightly warmer notes. xx
